City of Toulouse 
Toulouse is the main city of Midi-Pyrénées, the biggest region with its 45 000 Km2, and its wonderfull departments : Ariège, Aveyron, Gers, Haute-Garonne, Lot, Hautes-Pyrénées, Tarn, Tarn and Garonne. This is the 4th city of France after Paris, Marseille and Lyon. With more than 550.000 people in the center, more than 800.000 people including the surrounding cities, more than 100.000 students (the 3th university of France), Toulouse is the first city in France for the eletronic systems, the first city in Europe for spatial and aronautic activities. Toulouse is about 150km from the Mer Méditerranée, 250 km from the Atlantic Ocean, 110 km from the ski resorts. Toulouse is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time in Summer (GMT+2).

The Conference Center is close to the Marengo-SNCF station (line A) and located at 500m from the Town Hall "Place Capitole".

Airport - City Center
If you arrive by airplane, you will land certainly at the Toulouse-Blagnac airport. To join the City center or the Conference center, several ways are available:

- Taxis: they are waiting at the ground floor of the airport, at the arrival level, between Hall B and C. Prices to the City center are about 25-35€. At any time, you can book a taxi thanks to the call center of the airport (+33)

 - The shuttle Airport. The Ticket Office is localised outdoors, at the ground floor, at the arrival level, Hall B. Information : Allo  Tisséo : (+33) (from Monday to Friday 6am-20pm). (time tables, plans, etc.). Travel time : from 20 minutes till 45 minutes according ot the conditions of traffic. The shuttle works every day. 4 available stops : Compans-Caffarelli Center, Jeanne d'Arc (bus stop 1), Jean Jaurés Avenue (parking), Bus station (quai 2). Each stop is connected to the subway.
Airport > Toulouse: 5h30-00h15, a departure every 20 min.
Toulouse > Airport: 5h00-20h20, a departure from the bus station every 20 min.
Prices : One-way trip (5€), Day pass (8€), 6 travels (20€).

The bus: Line 66 : Aéroport Toulouse-Blagnac - Toulouse St Cyprien - Aéroport Toulouse-Blagnac

The Subway has two lines (A & B) crossing at the center of the "pink" city. The line A includes 18 stations and line B includes 20 stations. With these two lines, Toulouse has also a Tramway. Approximatively 30-35 minutes are necessary to join the two terminus.
Time tables : 5h15-midnight (from sunday till thursday), 5h15-01h00 (Friday and Saturday)
